Book recommendations?

All 6th graders need to do book reports as a part of reading class, and some students have a hard time finding a book that they enjoy. Does anyone have any recommendations for good books to read? These could be books that you've read on your own, books you've read for past book reports, books your teacher has read aloud, etc. Leave a comment with your book recommendations! Leave as much or as little information as you like: title, author, genre, or a short summary are some suggestions.
